The façade of this wonderful brick structure still stands. But the body of the building has fallen away. To be honest I am not sure what restoration can be done on the building to ensure it depicts the Baxter’s Road of old.

  1. Oh what a shame! No doubt you are right. They probably would have to knock it down and rebuild it in the same style.
    Do you know what that building was originally used for?

    Can you imagine how quanit it would be if even just one little section of Bridgetown was restored? *sigh*

  2. It may have been a small store or shop. Most of the buildings on Baxter’s Road were business. Baxter’s Road is still a lively place at night.

    Fading, but still showing some character. I hope they restore it. I can imagine what it looked like in its heyday.
