It is no secret that I am nostalgic about road signs that are found all over the country. ‘BUS STOP ’, ‘Which-A-Way' and ‘STOP’ are some of my favorites. If you never had the pleasure of seeing them then please do so. Then maybe you can appreciate this basic old fashion road sign.

Road signs are so simply. Without them how would you know where you are?

  1. I always wondered how Barbados came up with the word "gap" as opposed to "lane" or "close".
    Do you happen to know?

And just what is a "gap"?

the term gap came from there being a gap between buildings which people used to go through the neighbourhood. which naturally is a lane or road or close or any of those things
