  1. It sure looks like you had a blast of a time on your vacation Keith. ;)

Yes Hurricane Dean stopped by and wreaked some havoc in Jamaica. But thankfully not many people died. People took it seriously and tried as best as possible to prepare for it. So I think that this helped to minimise damage.

It will take us some time to recover but you know how us West Indians are : resillient to the core.
Thanks for thinking of me during the storm man.

As for the political debates: I can't believe your grandmother thought Portia looked mean and strong! :) Well, you saw what I thought of her, lol!

Anyway, looks like the elections will be postponed. We're still not sure on what date it will be held.

Glad to have you back blogging!

  2. Well, vacation was work and play. But, I had a blast.

We had some serious rain and flooding on the August 16th. Lots of telephone poles were down and the airport was closed for 12 hours.

And yes politics, it will be over soon. All that political maneuvering will be at its end. Hopefully there will be no violence in the process.

As usual, thanks for checking the blog out.

Nice shot. The vivid colors turned out pretty good. Only one that bled together.

Yup, there are lots of vibrant colors at Crop Over. I guest that is why I love to shoot Grand Kadooment Day.

Thank you for visiting my bird blog. And thanks too for the generous comment there about the hummingbird. I appreciate that a lot. All of my photos (some 19,000 in 2-years) were taken in my backyard in a small city about one mile from the downtown section of town.

It is also a small city lot that we live on. I have been married to the same lady for over 52 years.

So I call myself, "oldmanlincoln" and I am related to President Lincoln.
