These chattel houses have such character, and I've seen a few on various sites now (although none have the richness that your photographs manage to bring out), but I've never seen the inside of one.
ReplyDeleteI've read plenty of fiction that has given me a mental picture, but I wonder if they match?
Kris, most of them I assume have much the same things as any other house. Spaciousness may not be in abundance, but I can assure you it is comfortable. When I was home I visited a friend of mine and their Chattel house had a living room, dinning room, kitchen, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms.
