Just Color Me
Bay Street, Bridgetown
St. Michael, Barbados
Series: From Bush Hill to the Old Eye Hospital
(07-27-2007)
This Chattel House is extremely colorful and the entry to the front of the house is somewhat elaborate. There is something striking about the fence. It is that made out of, what we call in Barbados, chicken wire.

Barbados, your work continues to amaze and delight
ReplyDeleteGeoffrey, I appreciate you taking the time to view the blog and find something worthwhile to commenting on. I am obviously delighted that some of my photography on Barbados is well received.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for commenting.
There are so many different textures in this one. I love how the roof has rusted - it gives the house such character.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever objected to you taking a picture of their home?
Ann, I have never encountered any hostility while taking a picture of a house. That may be in some part due to the fact I take little time to compose and shoot. It is becoming increasingly easy for me to see the composition of the shot or see the edit I will do. So most times I am in an out.
